Come see Friends of the ACFL at our NEW location - 404 Commercial Ave!

It’s an exciting time for Friends of the ACFL! We have recently moved to a new location in the heart of downtown Anacortes and are looking forward to expanding our offerings, presence, and partnerships in the community at our new space.

Our new, expanded location at 404 Commercial Ave, offers:

● More office space for Friends of the ACFL staff.

● A classroom to host programs such as our Naturalist Club, Citizen Science program, Trail Ambassador training, and additional youth art and science programs with partner organizations.

● Opening in Fall 2024 - our new Forest Discovery Center! Our small interpretive center will serve as a valuable resource for our community for all things ACFL-related. Community members can come to the Forest Discovery Center and find:

- Exhibits on the history of the ACFL, forest ecology, and rotating interactive youth and community partnership exhibits

- Maps, hike recommendations, and guided activities

- Updates on Friends’ upcoming community & youth events and programming
