Join Friends of the ACFL for our March family hike to explore how the forest is waking up with signs of spring. We’ll take an amphibian’s view of the forest and learn about why our frogs, salamanders, and newts are on the move, and what makes these slimy creatures special.
This hike is ideal for families with kids ages 0-10 and will include a slow, easy walk to accommodate our smallest hikers, a break for snack and story time, and a thematic craft or science activity. We welcome all who are looking to explore the forest with us, but please note that this hike will be at a much slower pace than our other community hikes.
