This month’s hike is all about beavers! Join us to learn all about these semi-aquatic animals and the homes that they build. Beavers are amazing creatures that use their building skills - and big teeth! -  to change forest and wetland landscapes. We’ll explore beaver habitats and even get a chance to build our own dams.

This hike is ideal for families with kids ages 0-10 and will include a slow, easy walk to accommodate our smallest hikers, a break for snack and story time, and a thematic craft or science activity. We welcome all who are looking to explore the forest with us, but please note that this hike will be at a much slower pace than our other community hikes.
