Join Friends of the ACFL for our June family hike as we search for spring flowers and the very special creatures that pollinate them. During this celebration of teamwork in the forest, we’ll learn about why flowers and pollinators depend on each other, and how this relationship has shaped individual species and the forest as a whole.
This hike is ideal for families with kids ages 0-10 and will include a slow, easy walk to accommodate our smallest hikers, a break for snack and story time, and a thematic craft or science activity. We welcome all who are looking to explore the forest with us, but please note that this hike will be at a much slower pace than our other community hikes.
